Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman recently published an in-depth study of Apple’s future devices, according to the report. According to Gurman’s in-depth assessment, Apple might not ship the Apple Watch Series 7 with the iPhone 13 due to serious production difficulties with the gadget.

For those who don’t know, instead of focusing on health features this year, Apple is reportedly redesigning its smartwatch series and making them bigger than their predecessors. Thanks to leaked renders from respected Apple tipster Jon Prosser, we’ve already had a taste of what the upcoming Apple Watch Series 7 might look like.

As a result, according to the renderings, the next Apple Watch models would have flat sides, similar to the square shape of contemporary iPhones. Additionally, Apple is expected to release the gadget in two new sizes: 41mm and 45mm, which are larger than previous Apple Watch models.

Apple is currently experiencing manufacturing issues due to these new design changes, according to Gurman. So, according to the article, the company can now do one of three things.

Apple may postpone the release of the Apple Watch Series 7 until production difficulties are resolved. Otherwise, Apple can deliver the watch alongside the iPhone 13 series on time, but only in limited quantities. Apple may also unveil the Apple Watch 7, but won’t start shipping until a later date.

The Apple Watch Series 7 is expected to be unveiled on September 14. To deal with production issues, the company can use a combination of small-quantity and delayed-shipment strategies.

What else do we know?

Larger size and cellular connectivity have increased the price of Apple’s latest three watch models. When launching for $ 279 instead of $ 399, Apple Watch SE broke with the previous one. As a “cheap” smartwatch from Apple, the SE model lost some functionality to save money.)

In the absence of reliable reports regarding the price of the Apple Watch 7, it seems likely that the next-gen device will cost around $ 399. The uncertainty exists, however, as we don’t see big hardware improvements or new features on the horizon that would justify a price increase.
