Chromebook: Launch of HP Chromebook x360 14a with Intel processor: Price and other details of the new 2-in-1 device under Rs 30,000


HP launched its latest Chromebook notebook in India – the HP Chromebook x360 14a. The all-new Chromebook sports a 2-in-1 design. The laptop is powered by Intel Celeron processor and is priced below Rs 30,000. HP’s new Chromebook appears to be an Intel variant of Chromebook x360 14a which was launched with an AMD 3015Ce processor last year at Rs 32,999. The model is currently available at around Rs 27,990. It offers 4GB of DDR4 RAM and 64GB of eMMC storage.

The Intel processor HP Chromebooks x360 14a was launched at Rs 29,999. It comes in three color options: Mineral Silver, Ceramic White and Teal. The Chromebook will go on sale through the company’s offline and online retail channels across the country in the coming days.
Specifications of the HP Chromebook x360 14a
The HP Chromebook x360 14a features an x360 hinge with a 14-inch HD touchscreen and an 81% screen-to-body ratio. The company claims it can be transformed into a full-sized laptop. The display is the same as in the AMD variant of the Chromebook. It features a fanless design for a quieter and more comfortable computing experience and weighs approximately 1.49 kg.
The HP Chromebook x360 14a comes with a full-size keyboard with the Google “Everything” key for easy access to search and multiple keyboard shortcuts. For video calling, it supports a wide-view (88°) HD camera and supports Wi-Fi 5. The HP Chromebook x360 14a comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of eMMC storage. Buyers will receive 100 GB of Google One access to cloud storage for one year with the device. HP claims the battery life of this Chromebook is up to 14 hours.
The newest addition to the Chromebook wallet is especially aimed at students. According to the company, the HP Chromebook x360 14a is designed to meet the needs of students aged 4 to 15.
