Today, Samsung Malaysia unveiled a new range of 2022 Neo QLED 8K TV Series. Under the theme “Screen Everywhere, Screen for All”, there are a few Neo QLED 8K TV models but with a starting price of RM12,499.
We can’t say we’re surprised by this starting price, but there’s a good reason. The 2022 Neo QLED 8K TV features an updated and improved 8K Neural Quantum Processor with 20 groups of neural AI networks to help optimize 8K picture quality and color based on picture content. Colors are more vivid and black spots are darker thanks to the Quantum Mini LED, making it the world’s first Pantone color-certified TV.
In addition to reproducing over 2,000 colors including 110 skin tones with The New Pantone indicator, the 2022 Neo QLED 8K TV series also features a Dolby Atmos sound system. The QN900B flagship features a 90W 6.2.4 speaker setup, plus Dolby Atmos with Sound Pro object tracking. Additionally, the Samsung 2022 Neo QLED TV also features the world’s first wireless connection to Dolby Atmos, connecting to its latest 2022 Ultra Slim soundbar.
There are also some notable features present in the 2022 Neo QLED 8K TV series. But perhaps the one that stands out is the Smart Hub running Tizen OS. It allows the user to set the TV parameters by changing the screen content according to the home environment and helping users with the corresponding functions in games and work.
