You can now purchase Steam Deck Coins. Here’s how much they cost

Have you ever accidentally broken your Steam Deck and want to fix it yourself? Valve has worked with iFixit to offer self-repair tools and replacement parts specifically designed for the wearable system.

Tools and spares for the Steam Deck officially went live Monday after iFixit accidentally revealed the full catalog over the weekend, as reported by IGN. At the time, the company tweeted that it would honor orders from Steam Deck owners who placed them before the page was taken down.

Now that they are officially available, Steam Deck owners will be able to get any replacement part at an affordable price. However, prices for some parts depend on whether you want to get the part on its own or if you want to get the repair kit that comes with it. For example, the Steam Deck battery costs $90 on its own, but it costs $95 if you buy it with the tool kit.

Prices also depend on the Steam Deck model you own, at least for replacement screens. If you have the 64GB or 256GB model, the replacement screen will cost you $65 or $70. For the 512 GB model, you will have to pay between $95 and $100 to replace your broken screen.

These parts and more come three months after iFixit released its Steam Deck teardown video demonstrating how easy it is to repair the system without breaking the bank so that someone else can fix it for you. At the time, the company gave the Steam Deck a 7 out of 10 on its repairability scale, noting difficulties replacing the trigger buttons and battery.
